Pleasant place to stay with pleasant employees at all times. Our deluxe king room was more than airy. Extremely comfy bed and pillows, there were ironing facilities, a study table and a radio available. The pool was nice.

Pool too warm - and overall the air in the spa area is a bit stuffy

Room was very nice
Staff partly not worthy of a 5-star hotel. Had to wait forever for an order and subsequently for the ordered one. Breakfast buffet was only moderately resorted and did not look good visually, waffles and crêpes were not fresh and hard.

Fantastic location with views of the sea and St Andrews and golf courses. Very nice rooms, very good buffet breakfast, beautiful swimming pool with hot whirlpool
Sauna area could be a little more luxurious compared to the rest of the hotel amenities

Everything was fine.
Although I was travelling alone, I had to pay the full room price without any discount - at least for the second breakfast. Moreover, despite my explicit wish I could not stay in the room until 2 pm on the day of departure.

I stayed at the Fairmont for a business trip in early October. The room was a well-appointed King Room with a fine view of the surrounding landscape. The bed was comfortable, which contributed to a restful night's sleep between meetings. The business center proved invaluable for my work needs, as it was equipped with high-speed internet and printing facilities, ensuring I could prepare everything efficiently. The staff demonstrated amazing professionalism, providing quick responses to requests.
Dining options were somewhat limited in diversity.

Would like to see complimentary bottled water in the rooms
